Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year
Benefits: Eligible after 3 months

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Associate to join our finance team on a 15–16 month maternity leave coverage. Your Role & Contribution
As the AP Associate, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring vendors are paid on time, and supporting smooth month-end and year-end close activities. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to keep operations running efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing, verifying, and processing vendor invoices accurately and on time
  • Entering invoices into the ERP system, including three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipt notes
  • Processing service invoices with proper coding and approvals
  • Preparing and executing vendor payments
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintaining AP aging reports and following up on outstanding balances
  • Supporting month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Responding to vendor inquiries professionally and in a timely manner
  • Preparing and updating AP reports and performance metrics
  • Collaborating closely with the supply chain and cross-functional teams
  • Resolving routine issues independently and escalating complex matters as needed
  • Assisting with additional finance-related responsibilities as assigned
What You Bring
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1–3 years of Accounts Payable experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred (Nice to Have)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations-driven environment
  • Knowledge of indirect taxes such as GST/HST
