Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and storage practices
- Assist in menu preparation and daily kitchen operations
- Ensure safety and hygiene protocols are followed at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a related kitchen role required
- Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- Ability to obtain food safety certification
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to meet physical demands (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods)
- Uniform and PPE may be required
