About the Role: Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Millwright)
Step into a hands-on role where you’ll be the driving force behind our plant’s mechanical reliability. You’ll lead installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on everything from melt-shop equipment to conveyors, hydraulic systems, pumps, furnaces and beyond. Key Responsibilities Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Millwright)
· Lead & Perform Maintenance: Execute equipment installation, preventive maintenance, repairs and overhauls per work orders, OEM specs and safety standards.
· Fabrication & Welding: Use lathes, mills, MIG/Arc welding to fabricate parts and support complex repairs.
· Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Inspect and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems using precision tooling and instrumentation.
· Safety Champion: Follow lock-out/tag-out, confined-space, working-at-heights protocols—and wear PPE at all times.
· Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with electrical technicians and external contractors during shutdowns or emergency work.
· CMMS Management: Log and close work orders, retrieve manuals and track maintenance history in the CMMS.
· Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to boost equipment reliability, safety and efficiency.

What We’re Looking For: Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Millwright)
· Certified Millwright: Industrial Mechanic – Millwright (433A) ticket.
· Proactive Problem-Solver: You anticipate issues and tackle them head-on.
· Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CMMS and reading schematics, blueprints and OEM manuals.
· Strong Communicator: Clear, concise and safety-focused in all interactions.
· Safety & Environmental Mindset: You put people and the planet first.
· Bonus Experience: Foundry or primary-metals background, material-handling systems.

Technical Skillset Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Millwright)
· Hydraulic and pneumatic system troubleshooting
· Mechanical and material-handling diagnostics
· Welding and machining fabrication skills
· Overhead crane operation and safe rigging/hoisting techniques
· Basic electrical aptitude to support electrical trades

Physical & Shift Requirements Maintenance Technician – Mechanical (Millwright)
· Lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) regularly
· Work in varying plant environments (heat, dust, noise)
· Climb ladders, work at heights and in confined spaces
· Rotate through day, afternoon and night shifts (8 or 12 hours) and flexible overtime
