Start Date: July 15, 2025 (flexible)
Shift: Morning or Afternoon
Compensation: $28–$45 per hour (commensurate with experience)
About the Role:
As a CNC Machinist, you’ll be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines in a busy, precision-focused shop environment. You’ll be working on a range of parts for industries including medical equipment, heavy machinery, and material handling. This is a physically demanding role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machinery (e.g., milling, drilling, grinding)
  • Translate mechanical drawings and blueprints into machine commands
  • Load materials and run test cycles to verify machine output
  • Monitor machines during production and make adjustments as needed
  • Perform regular quality checks using precision measuring tools
  • Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal machine performance
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience operating CNC machines (minimum 3–5 years)
  • Experience with HAAS CNC milling machines is preferred
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems and basic programming knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools
  • Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certification is an asset
