Fuze HR at the Armada Education Fundraising Golf Tournament

On May 24, 2024, Fuze HR Solutions had the privilege of participating in the inaugural Classique de Golf de l’Armada, an event dedicated to raising educational funds for players of the Armada Hockey Team. The tournament, organized by the Armada de Blainville-Boisbriand, was a tremendous success, and we are proud to have been a sponsor.

A Day of Golf for a Great Cause

The atmosphere at the golf tournament was filled with camaraderie and a shared sense of purpose. Participants enjoyed a day of golf while supporting a cause that directly impacts the lives of student-athletes. We are thrilled to announce that the event raised an impressive $80,000 for the players’ study fund. These funds will help alleviate the financial burden on the athletes, allowing them to continue their education without added stress.

The Armada’s Rich History

Founded in 2005 as the St. John’s Fog Devils, the team underwent several transformations before becoming the Armada de Blainville-Boisbriand in 2011. The move to Boisbriand was spearheaded by former NHL defenceman Joël Bouchard, who led the team to new heights. The Armada has a rich history and continues to support its players both on and off the ice.

Supporting Student-Athletes

The funds raised from the golf tournament will be allocated to the Fonds d’études de l’Armada, which is dedicated to supporting the academic pursuits of the team’s athletes. By easing their financial challenges, we hope to empower these young athletes to excel in both their sports and educational endeavors.
