We are seeking experienced and skilled Building Operators for a 2-Month contract opportunity, providing critical support in the maintenance and operations of industrial buildings and facilities. If you are a motivated professional with expertise in facilities management, we want to meet you!

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, and other mechanical equipment.
• Monitor building systems, including electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems, to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond promptly to service calls and address maintenance issues effectively.
• Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to equipment, fixtures, and systems as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Provide recommendations for preventive maintenance and system improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities or building operations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Building Operator Certification, trade licenses, etc.) are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of industrial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and adapt to different site environments.
