Role Summary
The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing a specific production area to meet operational targets. This position ensures that safety, quality, and efficiency standards are consistently achieved while supporting overall business objectives.
Key Duties

Lead and oversee production staff to meet daily safety, quality, and output goals.

Apply company policies consistently and suggest process improvements where needed.

Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Work collaboratively with teams such as Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Sales, Finance, Customer Service, and R&D to maintain smooth operations.

Organize and facilitate training for team members to ensure adherence to procedures and competency development.

Record, monitor, and report production data, including KPIs, downtime, and performance metrics.

Maintain production quality and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.

Take on additional tasks as needed to support operational requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
-
At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or production environments; additional experience is a plus.

Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.

Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing best practices.

Experience in blown film production is advantageous.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams.

Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of staff and management.

Work Environment
This role is primarily office-based, but frequent visits to the production floor are required. Personal protective equipment such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and safety glasses must be worn on the floor. Occasional exposure to noise, dust, and heat is expected.
