Administrative Assistant (Temporary – Maternity Leave Coverage)
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Assistant to provide a wide variety of clerical and staff support services. This role will support department processes and reporting requirements in accordance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
Compensation: 25/hr
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., 100% on site
Employment Type: Temporary (maternity leave coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and update Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
- Perform general office duties, including:
- Creating shipping documents and processing invoices
- Filing, sorting, and opening mail
- Receiving visitors and answering phone calls
- Providing assistance or directing inquiries to the appropriate department or individual
- Exercising discretion and judgment in dealing with outside vendors
- Create, review, and arrange manifests into packages; confirm destinations on manifests.
- Provide support to Sales and Field Technical Services with paperwork, invoicing, and customer communications.
- Mail and ship packages via USPS, UPS, and FedEx; manage outgoing mailings (stuffing and sealing).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an office environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service in diverse settings.
