Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Oakville
Salary: $26 – $28 per hour
Position Overview:
Fuze HR is seeking a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a candidate with 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory management, who also has strong leadership and people skills.
You will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities while working closely with the team to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Oversee the handling and movement of goods, ensuring all procedures align with safety and company standards.
- Operate a forklift up to 90% of the time and assist with manual tasks, such as lifting boxes (5–20 lbs.) and using a pallet jack for heavier loads (100 lbs.+).
- Lead and motivate the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and WMS software for documentation and reporting.
- Monitor and manage performance in a manufacturing/production setting (units vs. time).
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.
- Perform physical tasks, such as climbing ladders, reaching overhead, and standing or walking for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of warehouse experience, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
- 2–3 years of forklift operating experience and certification
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to blend seamlessly with the crew.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 20 lbs. overhead and performing repetitive movements.
- Resides locally (Oakville, Burlington, Mississauga) within a 20-minute drive and owns reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; subject to adjustment during peak seasons, with occasional overtime.
- Probation Period: 90 days (3 months).
- Overtime: Paid after 44 hours per week, as per ministry standards.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of $26 – $28.
