Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (some overtime during peak season)

Are you an organized and motivated team player with experience in warehouse operations? We’re seeking a Warehouse Operation Coordinator to join a dynamic team in a leading third-party logistics environment, located in Brampton’s Steeles and Kennedy Road area.
This organization specializes in providing end-to-end supply chain solutions across Canada, focusing on customer satisfaction, reliability, and a supportive team atmosphere.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Customer Service Representatives and the Master Scheduler to prioritize and plan orders to meet customer timelines.
- Assign and monitor work, including staging, wave time, and pick assignments for various teams.
- Release all incoming orders based on service level, order type, size, complexity, and priority.
- Notify Operations of any requested customer changes related to scheduling, processing, or shipping.
- Troubleshoot and escalate issues with waves as needed.
- Ensure daily pick tasks are completed by the pickers.
- Guarantee that all orders are delivered according to customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain reports on wave tracking throughput, wave cancellation rates, and other key metrics.
- Create work groups and reprioritize as needed to meet operational demands.
- Communicate clearly with picking and replenishment teams to ensure clarity on assignments.
- Coordinate with carriers to set appointments and update load statuses.
- Work closely with the inventory lead and on-site personnel to resolve issues with orders/waves.
- Directly interact with customers to communicate order changes and updates.
- Step in to support other departments as needed, such as Value-Added Services (VAS), ticketing, picking, packing, or shipping.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong experience with WMS systems.
- Proven ability to prioritize and assign work effectively, optimizing equipment use and warehouse flow.
- Ability to coordinate and dispatch outbound shipments systematically.
- Skilled at researching and resolving issues that arise during the waving process, including inventory discrepancies and order errors.
- Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills.
- Operations leadership experience with a clear vision, results orientation, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
- Associate’s degree or at least 2 years completed toward a bachelor’s degree.
