Warehouse Distribution Supervisor

Location: Brantford, Ontario

The Warehouse Distribution Supervisor is responsible for leading the inventory control and warehouse teams at a small distribution branch, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all aspects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture where everyone is valued and contributes to the branch’s success. You will coordinate workflows, set schedules, and ensure products are available when customers need them.
Job type: Permanent, full-time
Schedule: M-F onsite, 8am – 5pm
Compensation: Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
• Salary range of $70k – $75K with up to 10% bonus
• RRSP match of 4%
• 2-3 weeks of paid vacation
Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
• Lead/supervise warehouse and inventory staff to ensure efficient daily operations and team productivity
• Oversee the receipt, storage, handling, and redistribution of containers and products with accuracy
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently to manage inventory
• Maintain precise inventory records, shipment documentation, and tracking systems
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate cross-functionally with departments to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, delivering high levels of service and satisfaction
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse employees to foster growth, improve performance, and build team capability
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost accuracy, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse operations
• Perform additional duties as required to support branch goals and success

Qualifications: Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
• College degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field; or equivalent 10 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or inventory management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.
