Accounting Technician – Manufacturing Company
Location: Granby, QC
Salary: $70,000 to $80,000 + annual bonus
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days remote) – 40 hours per week

What We Offer

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable
  • Record and process supplier invoices in accordance with company policies
  • Execute supplier payments and government remittances
  • Manage supplier portals and credit card reconciliations

Accounts Receivable
  • Open new customer accounts and record deposits
  • Issue invoices, follow up, and respond to client inquiries
  • Collaborate with head office for francophone collections

Month-End
  • Perform bank reconciliations and journal entries
  • Reconcile subledgers and support monthly financial analyses
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Ensure accounting compliance with US GAAP (an asset)

HR & Administration
  • Welcome new employees and manage group insurance administration

Profile Sought
  • Technical diploma or university degree in accounting or finance
  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in an SME environment
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Business Central and Avalara (asset)
  • Advanced level of English (7.5/10 or higher) – bilingual or English required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fully digital environment
  • Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and autonomy
