Technical Sales Rep

Location: Bolton, ON (ability for hybrid after training)

Salary: 90,000-110,000 + annual bonus

Day Shift: 9-5

Are you a driven, ambitious individual with a passion for business development and a strong technical background? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Representative to lead sales growth in new lifting equipment, maintenance, and after-sales services. This is your chance to work closely with engineering teams, negotiate contracts, and help expand our reach in the market.

We are looking for a determined self-starter who isn’t afraid to knock on doors or pick up the phone to win new business. If you’re eager to grow, excel, and make an impact, this role is for you!

Qualifications & Skills:

Education: A degree in a technical field (electrical or mechanical) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is highly valued.

Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in service and industrial sales; experience in overhead crane business sales is an asset.

Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a solid understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with an analytical mindset and strategic approach to handling tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar systems.
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager to drive sales and marketing activities.
  • Establish develop, and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients to identify opportunities and generate new business.
  • Conduct engaging demonstrations and presentations for customers about material handling and lifting equipment.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through timely problem resolution.
  • Prepare action plans to meet sales targets, conduct follow-ups, and create prospect reports.
  • Lead the sales cycle from prospecting calls to closing deals, consistently achieving or exceeding standards.
  • Review incoming proposals and contracts, working with the Branch Manager to mitigate risks and protect margins.
  • Assist in preparing technical specifications and scope of work documents during project proposals and execution phases.
  • Follow up on quotations and coordinate with engineering and service teams to ensure seamless delivery.
