What We’re Looking For
We need Red Seal Welders or experienced welding professionals with a strong background in structural steel and pressure welding. If you thrive in heavy manufacturing and want to work on exciting shipbuilding projects, we want you!
Technical Requirements
  • Certification:
    • Red Seal Welder OR minimum 5 years of welding experience
    • Current CWB All Position FCAW Qualification (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Skills:
    • Manual burning using oxy/fuel cutting equipment
    • Air-arc gouging in all positions
    • Ability to pass a pre-employment FCAW weld test
  • For Pipe Welders:
    • Documented pipe/pressure welding experience
    • Provincial, International, or Class Society certifications
    • Ability to pass additional qualification tests as required
Other Requirements
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Commitment to safety and environmental standards
  • Ability to read and interpret welding procedures, blueprints, and drawings
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible to work all shifts
