About the Opportunity:
A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Structural Project Manager to join its Building Restoration Consulting Team in Edmonton. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with clients, manage diverse restoration projects, and contribute to the maintenance and renewal of building infrastructure across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or support building restoration and rehabilitation projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct building assessments, condition evaluations, and warranty reviews.
  • Prepare depreciation reports, building condition assessments, and technical specifications for restoration and repair projects.
  • Develop project tenders, evaluate contractor bids, and assist with contract administration.
  • Perform site inspections and investigate structural or building envelope issues to determine appropriate remediation strategies.
  • Provide project coordination, ensuring deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary consultants to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Prepare technical reports, construction documentation, and project proposals that clearly outline findings and recommendations.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university or college.
  • 1 to 4 years of experience in building science, restoration, or related structural design work.
  • Familiarity with Part 4 of the BC Building Code, CSA A23.3, CSA 086, and CSA S16 standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
