Structural Lead – British Columbia
We’re seeking a Structural Lead for British Columbia to join a growing, collaborative, and high-performing engineering team. This leadership role involves working closely with local and national teams to support client relationships and project delivery, while helping to guide the direction of structural services in the region.
About the Role
As the Structural Lead for BC, your responsibilities will include:

Supporting, mentoring, and growing a small local team of structural engineers.

Assisting in structural repair projects and enhancing structural service offerings.

Helping to organically grow the structural design side of the business, particularly for new building construction.

Providing technical guidance and contributing to project execution.

Identifying resource needs and participating in hiring to build out the structural team.

Supporting a positive team culture – including participating in team-building activities.
What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 Months

Meet and build relationships with local team members, leaders, and colleagues across Canada.

Contribute to active structural projects to learn how the team works and identify areas for improvement or growth.

Develop a strategic plan for expanding into the new construction market – defining target project types, ideal clients, and required team adjustments.

Begin executing the plan, track progress, and adjust as needed.

Initially work from the North Vancouver office most days for the first 1–2 months to integrate with the team, then shift to a hybrid work model.
Beyond 12 Months

Continue mentoring the team and recruiting additional support (e.g., CAD/Revit).

Help scale and diversify the structural services offered.

Take on a key leadership role in shaping the structural business in the region.
Future Opportunities

Eligible for share ownership within 1–2 years, with shares offered annually.

Participate in profit sharing based on performance, with 50% of annual profits distributed among employees and the remaining 50% as dividends to shareholders.
