Forklift Operator – Shipping, Receiving & Inventory (Counterbalance – Propane)
📍 Location: Mississauga, ON
đŸ’Č Pay Rate: $25/hour
🕒 Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
📅 Status: Temporary (Ongoing) – No guarantee of permanent hire

Our client, a leading provider of customized loading dock equipment and industrial door solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Shipping & Receiving Forklift Operator to join their team in Mississauga. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a manufacturing setting and is confident handling a wide range of load sizes and materials.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a Counterbalance Propane Forklift to handle both standard and irregularly shaped materials.
  • Manage shipping and receiving activities, including staging, documentation, and using the Purolator shipping system.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using Excel and WMS.
  • Utilize MS Office (Outlook, Teams) for internal communication and coordination.
  • Generate shipping labels, manifests, and invoices; track packages and resolve shipment issues.
  • Communicate effectively with logistics providers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
✅ Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of recent forklift experience (Counterbalance – Propane) handling various load types (not just standard skids).
  • Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance – Propane).
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (warehouse-only backgrounds will not be considered).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel and MS Office skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (minimum 9/10 verbal proficiency).
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Clear background check and two professional references required.
  • Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and minimal job changes over the past 2 years.
🏭 Work Environment:
  • Small-scale manufacturing warehouse
  • May involve dusty conditions
  • Handling materials of all shapes and sizes
