Servo Motor Technician – Full Time
We’re looking for a motivated and skilled technician interested in building a long-term career with strong growth potential. Technical and mechanical aptitude, along with experience in automation or related fields, is essential for this role.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical background with hands-on experience working with servo motors and valves.
  • Ability to work independently or under supervision.
  • Attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble servo motors, servo valves, AC/DC motors, and spindle motors.
  • Clean, prep, and replace components as needed.
  • Test electrical and mechanical properties of motors and feedback devices (e.g., encoders, resolvers).
  • Operate specialized test equipment such as oscilloscopes, amplifiers, drives, and manufacturer-specific software.
  • Use basic hand tools, with the ability to learn and apply specialized tools relevant to the industry.
  • Familiarity with Mitchell Electronics equipment is considered an asset.
Position Details:
  • Type: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Salary: $75,000–$110,000 per year
  • Location: Mississauga, ON (must be able to reliably commute or relocate before starting)
