On behalf of our smart grid technology client, we are looking for a Service Technologist! Do you have experience with troubleshooting, repairing, testing and investigating electronic devices? Are you a passionate, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude? Look no further!
This is a full-time, permanent, Monday-Friday position in Burnaby.
Compensation:
- Base salary of $59K
- 3 weeks of paid vacation

Responsibilities:
- Receiving, troubleshooting, and repairing returned products as well as completing verification tests and reviews
- Data-entry for all troubleshooting, repairs, and testing of products
- Work in-depth with the Quality team to dig into field failures and document any findings
- Maintain all test jigs that are used for above activities
- Assisting/collaborating with other departments and team members as necessary
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology
- Strong experience with troubleshooting and test methods for electronics
- Thorough understanding of analog and digital electronics, wiring diagrams, schematics, and PCB layout
- Experience using Windows and Linux
- Experience using all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- IPC-A-610 Certification considered an ideal asset
- Fantastic verbal and written communication
- Positive, professional team player with a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow
