Service Technician – Service Technician | Mississauga | Day Shift | $30.00 – $35.00

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $35.00

• Service, install, and maintain welding fume and vehicle exhaust extraction systems (ductwork, extraction arms, filters, fans, etc.)

• Conduct preventative and routine maintenance as per procedures • Diagnose errors/technical issues and determine effective solutions

• Complete service reports and documentation of all work performed

• Operate hoisting/lifting devices (forklifts, scissor lifts)

• Update work orders, maintenance logs, and daily activity reports

• Travel to client sites (expenses for accommodations/meals covered when required) Required Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot mechanical systems

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams

• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently

• Valid G Class Driver’s License (Clean abstract required), can take the company vehicle home

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Certified in Working at Heights and Forklift/Scissor Lift operation Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory)

• Sheet Metal Technician (407A) -Asset

1. Experience with sheet metal systems and tools

2. Skilled in operating forklifts, hoists, and related equipment licensed

3. Mechanically inclined, with strong troubleshooting abilities

• Able to work on-site without constant supervision

• Comfortable working in industrial environments

• Willingness to travel for service calls

Work Schedule • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM • Overtime: Paid (after 40 hours/week)

Compensation & Benefits

• Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus (TBD)
