I am currently looking for a rare pearl to occupy a permanent daytime industrial mechanic position in greater Ottawa for a company specializing in the industrial maintenance.

As a Daytime Industrial Mechanic, your next responsibilities will include:

• Installation, assembly, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical systems
• Proficient in repairing Lift Trucks, Material Handling Equipment’s
• Troubleshooting and adjustment of mechanical and electrical systems
• Travel to customers for work
• Workshop work (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.
• Handling of industrial equipment and their components;
• Evaluates and establishes prices, according to customer requests for services on the road, collaborates directly with the buyer and the parts clerk
• Plan and estimate for service customers
• Maintenance of customer relations

Here is the profile sought for the day industrial mechanic position :

• DEP in Electromechanics or Industrial Mechanics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Experience working on conveyor equipment (asset)
• ASP construction competency card (strong asset)
• Have technical skills, as well as manual dexterity
• Bilingual in English and French (strong written and oral skills)
• Excellent sense and approach to customer service
• Ability to work on the road
• Good stress management.
