What You’ll Do:
- Lead and coach a dynamic service team in a unionized environment
- Develop strategic priorities and manage budgets for Service & Mobile Departments
- Drive financial performance: productivity, efficiency, revenue, and profit margins
- Build lasting customer relationships and actively market service offerings
- Oversee recruiting, hiring, and performance reviews for shop personnel
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain 5S excellence
- Stay ahead of tech advancements and manage shop tools and equipment
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience managing a large truck dealership service department
- Strong leadership with a collaborative, coaching approach
- Exceptional technical knowledge of heavy trucks (Freightliner & Western Star preferred)
- Experience in a unionized environment
- Minimum 5 years of experience working within a busy, high volume service department
- Must have prior management experience
