Position: Engineering Manager

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electrical, and software engineers. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs. You will play a critical role in shaping the engineering processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize design and production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Design Oversight: Supervise the design and development of mechanical, electrical, and software systems, ensuring projects meet technical standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Concept to Solution: Guide initial design concepts and support the evolution of these ideas into fully developed, practical solutions for advanced equipment.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all designs comply with global safety standards, electrical codes, and industry best practices.
  • Component Standardization: Champion the standardization of mechanical and electrical components to improve cost efficiency and streamline production.
  • Engineering Calculations & Layouts: Perform and review engineering analyses, as well as oversee the creation of comprehensive equipment layouts tailored to customer specifications.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to improve processes and resolve technical challenges.
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on expertise during factory acceptance testing, field trials, and customer troubleshooting activities.
  • Project Management: Oversee project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met on schedule while maintaining high-quality outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a primary liaison for internal teams and external clients, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven ability to lead and manage cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with robotics and automation systems is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially within the fields of automation, capital equipment, robotics, and electrical design.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles, electrical design regulations, and cost estimation practices.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
