A well-established, employee-owned engineering consulting firm is seeking an experienced Senior Contract Administrator to support large-scale rail, transit, and infrastructure projects across Ontario.
This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing contract administration during construction, managing project controls, coordinating site activities, and acting as a trusted liaison between clients, contractors, and project teams.
🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Lead construction contract administration, including reviewing shop drawings, change orders, and payment certifications
• Monitor project progress, schedules, and construction costs
• Conduct site reviews and audits to ensure quality and accuracy
• Review and negotiate contractor claims and extra work requests
• Chair project meetings and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders
• Coordinate site teams and support quality assurance processes

🔹 Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in construction and contract administration within transit or infrastructure projects
• Degree in Civil Engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (required)
• Strong experience with rail/transit projects (stations, tracks, signals, facilities)
• Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills
• CCCA designation and rail corridor experience considered assets
• 15+ years of experience in construction and contract administration within transit or infrastructure projects
