What are the Responsibilities?

• Troubleshoot and maintain large, complex, and automated machinery
• Perform equipment inspections, ensure all equipment is in safe, operational order
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance regularly as scheduled
• Repair/rebuild machinery as necessary, assist with major overhauls/alterations, install new equipment
• Maintain all required service records and logs, make recommendations for improvements and upgrades
• Participate in all safety related endeavors, toolbox meetings, and collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor/team members regularly
• Cleaning, inspection and reassembly of equipment

What are the Requirements?

• Red Seal Millwright trade qualification NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience within a relevant industrial environment
• Strong mechanical skills, knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Must be physically fit and comfortable working both inside and outside on a regular basis
• Valid BC Driver’s License, ability to drive a vehicle
• Must be willing and able to be part of the high angle rescue team/participate actively in safety culture
• Welding/fabricating abilities considered an asset
• First Aid level 2 considered an asset
• Mut be flexible to work a mix of days and afternoons through the busy summer months, schedule will be steady M-F, 7am – 3:30pm throughout the rest of the year
