Red Seal Millwright

We are looking to hire a Red Seal Millwright for a reputable packaging manufacturer in Langley!

Job type: Permanent, full-time

Schedule: 12-hour continental shift rotation, rotates between 7am-7pm shifts and 7pm-7am shifts (you will work 4 days then have 3 days off, then work 3 days and have 4 days off etc)

Compensation:

• $48.24/hr for day shifts and $49.67/hr for night shifts
• Dual-ticketed Millwright/Electrician premium hourly wage for days is $50.29/hr

Responsibilities:

• Routine maintenance and repair on of all Plant equipment including but not limited to; pulpers, extruders, thermo-forming machines, printers, padders, screw compressors, pumps, fans and blower
• Tool changes and machine setup
• Welding, lathe & milling work
• Support machine operators
• Troubleshoot and maintain the plant’s electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems
• Working on Conveyors, PLC, assisted control panels, gearboxes, pumps

Requirements:

• Red Seal Millwright
• Manufacturing and pulp & paper industry asset
• Physically fit
• Ability to work morning and graveyard shift
• PLC experience is an asset
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
