Job Title: Phlebotomist – Lab Clinic Support
Location: Stoney Creek/Hamilton/Burlington Area
Employment Type: Temporary Support
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm certain location require Saturday support 8am to 12 noon
Hourly Rate: $25 to $30 – Base on Experience
About the Role:
Fuze HR is seeking skilled and compassionate Phlebotomists to support lab clinics for Hamilton/Stoney Creek Area. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working in a clinical setting, interacting with patients, and contributing to high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection accurately and safely.
- Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and transport of specimens according to protocols.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and provide excellent patient care and comfort.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling, and data entry.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety guidelines, including infection control standards.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy program or equivalent.
- Certification or registration with relevant Ontario regulatory body preferred (e.g., CMLTO or equivalent).
- Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a lab or clinical setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
