Job Title: Temporary Parts Order Coordinator
Location: Mississauga (Dixie and 401 area)
Salary: $30 – $31/hr
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Contract Duration: Temporary (Possibly extended depending on return date approval)

They are currently seeking a motivated and organized individual to support their operations team during a temporary staffing need.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Temporary Parts Order Coordinator to assist with managing part orders, customer inquiries, and processing related tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with JDE (JD Edwards) software and be comfortable handling a high volume of emails and customer questions. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential in this role. This position offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic team and contribute to the smooth operation of our client’s order management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming calls and emails from customers, providing pricing and availability information.
- Generate SM parts orders upon receipt of customer purchase orders.
- Check stock and order parts as needed to fulfill customer orders.
- Monitor and track open SM parts orders and open purchase orders.
- Order and track quoted job parts; coordinate with shipping and dispatch to ensure timely staging and delivery.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure parts are shipped and customer notifications are sent regarding any order updates, including delays, shipping dates, and tracking information.
- Process invoices using Laserfiche.
- Perform month-end transactions in a timely manner.
- Assist the warehouse team to maintain inventory flow and provide backup support during vacations.
- Support company operational visions, values, and goals.
- Participate in annual warehouse inventory preparation and count.
- Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- Engage in training and continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or designated representative.
Qualifications:
- Experience with JDE (JD Edwards) is preferred.
- Strong ability to manage a high volume of emails and customer inquiries.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a customer service environment is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
