Millwright / Industrial Maintenance Mechanic 433a – Straight Shift | OT | Real Work
Location: Waterdown ONT
Pay: $40-$48/hr + OT + Full Benefits
Shifts: Straight Shifts, no rotation
Days: 6am-2:30pm, Afternoons: 2pm-10:30pm, Nights: 10pm-6:30am

Let’s be clear — this is NOT a “stand around and babysit machines” job.

If you’re a true maintenance guy who can troubleshoot, tear down, rebuild, and get equipment back online fast, keep reading.
This is a production environment where downtime costs money — they want people who can think, react, and fix problems properly, not just escalate or wait.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing
  • Diagnosing breakdowns on conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, belts, motors
  • Handling mechanical failures in real time — not just logging tickets
  • Working on dust collection, air systems, and plant utilities
  • Swapping out components, aligning, rebuilding, getting lines moving again
  • Supporting PM programs (not just checking boxes — real preventative work)
  • Doing basic welding/fab/repairs when needed
  • Using PLC screens for fault finding (no programming — just understanding what’s going on)
  • Jumping in wherever needed to keep production running

What You Bring
  • 3+ years in industrial maintenance (manufacturing)
  • Strong mechanical background — conveyors, rotating equipment, pneumatics/hydraulics
  • Experience replacing bearings, aligning components, diagnosing failures
  • Welding/fab experience = strong asset
  • 433A Millwright Required
  • Able to read drawings, manuals, and work instructions
