📍 Waterdown, ON
đŸ’Č $32.25/hour + $2.00 shift premium
🕒 Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

We’re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Production Technician to join a busy manufacturing operation in Waterdown. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, supporting maintenance, and keeping production running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Operating manufacturing and packaging equipment in a continuous production environment
  • Monitoring product quality and adjusting processes when inconsistencies arise
  • Sampling and analyzing finished products according to quality standards
  • Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control issues and correcting them quickly
  • Performing preventative maintenance inspections and wear-part replacements
  • Supporting maintenance activities alongside mechanics
  • Operating forklifts, loaders, and scissor lifts
  • Working safely at heights using proper fall protection
  • Loading and unloading materials and finished product
  • Completing production records and supporting reporting
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Assisting with training new team members when required
What They’re Looking For
  • Technical diploma or related manufacturing experience (or strong equivalent hands-on experience)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude; welding or mechanical training is an asset
  • Previous forklift, loader, or scissor lift experience is an asset
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve process issues independently
  • Comfortable in a physically active role (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking most of the shift)
  • Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
