Job description
World class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use sheet metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.
We are looking for a Saw Operator to work in Production Department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating saw machinery, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Salary, $20-22 per hour
Shift – Afternoons 2pm-12am Monday – Thursday
Responsibilities
- Move material and work-in-progress parts internally as per work order, working with team leaders.
- Support production by picking parts and supplying it to production workers.
- Load & unload trucks.
- Complete necessary shipping documents.
- Work with data entry clerk as required.
- Coordinates shipping paperwork.
- Delivers packages throughout the facility as needed.
- Performs cycle counts as required.
- Orders returnable containers and other packaging materials as needed.
- Participate in 5S and other continuous improvement activities
- Performs other related duties as required.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid lift truck license. Counterbalance (Electric)
- 1+ years of forklift driving experience.

- Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.
- Work well under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Work shifts as required.
- Good communication skills, and must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing the essential duties and responsibilities of the position including regular lifting and carrying of 5-23 kgs.
- Written and oral communication in English.
- Comfortable with computers once trained in our ERP (OnRamp) software
