Maintenance Supervisor – Manufacturing (Day Shift)
We’re hiring an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join an established and steadily growing manufacturing company in the Fraser Valley. This is a full-time, day-shift position reporting to the Maintenance Manager and overseeing a team of maintenance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and manage a team of 10+ maintenance technicians
- Oversee preventive maintenance and repair of industrial production equipment (e.g. mixers, packaging lines, conveyors)
- Drive safety and productivity by guiding day-to-day operations and ensuring performance standards are met
- Implement and monitor a Preventive Maintenance Program to minimize equipment downtime
- Conduct inspections and delegate maintenance activities accordingly
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Support and deliver safety training and ensure compliance with programs and procedures
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or food production setting
- Red Seal Millwright or Red Seal Electrician certification required
- Proven experience leading teams of 10 or more
- Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Comfortable working in a cool/cold production environment
