Maintenance Planner

Your Role as a Maintenance Planner:

Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to keep our equipment and facilities running smoothly. You’ll work closely with the Mechanical Lead Hand, Electrical Lead Hand, and MRO Coordinator to prioritize and plan maintenance work effectively. Key responsibilities include:

·Planning and scheduling all maintenance work to promote a culture of safety and reliability

·Using MP2 software daily for work order and preventive maintenance management

·Ensuring maintenance tasks are planned and scheduled efficiently and completed on time

·Preparing detailed timelines for planned outages using MS Excel

·Coordinating maintenance downtime activities to ensure safe and efficient completion

·Identifying and addressing areas for improvement, including safety risks and departmental operations

·Supporting preventive and predictive maintenance efforts

·Collaborating with the MRO Coordinator to update spare parts lists

·Performing other related duties as required

About You:

We’d love to hear from you if you meet the following qualifications:

·College certification in Engineering or a related field (preferred)

·Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance planning role

·Availability to work a conventional day shift and flexibility for overtime when needed

·Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and experience with mechanical/electrical equipment

·Excellent organizational and planning skills

·Proficiency in computer skills, particularly MS Word and Excel

·Strong verbal and written communication skills

·Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to excellence
