We are currently looking for an experienced Machine Operator/Production Worker to join our client's team. They are a very reputable company that provides products to the construction industry. This will be for their plant located in the Tilbury area in Delta.
Job Description:
- Responsible for production machine setup and operation.
- Controlling and adjusting the machine as needed.
- Replenish raw materials to the machine as needed.
- Assemble parts and kits.
- Read and follow production work orders.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, repetitive environment with accuracy and speed to achieve company expectations which are necessary to meet and exceed customer demands.
- Associates in this role may have varied job duties based on assigned machine and department requirements.
- This position places a strong significance on effective teamwork, clear communication, sound judgment, safety orientation, achieving and maintaining production efficiency and a dedication to the quality of our product.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a production or manufacturing setting.
- Machine setup and operation experience.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as safety rules and instructional procedures in written, oral, or schedule form.
- Capable of following instructions.
- Ability to work repetitive jobs at a fast pace.
Salary: Up to $22/hour (possible wiggle room depending on the experience)
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week, Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
