Logistics Coordinator (Temporary – 2 Month Contract)
Location: Remote (Must be based in the GTA)
Contract Length: 2 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $28 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Reports To: Assistant Director

About the Role
Fuze HR Solutions is supporting a client in the automotive and logistics sector with the recruitment of a Contract Logistics Coordinator to cover a short-term leave.

This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with global and local stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation and on-time delivery.

You will work closely with international team members, and occasional evening meetings may be required (approximately once per week, up to 8:00 PM EST).

This is a fast-paced, detail-driven role for someone who can work independently and stay organized under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities
Inbound Logistics (Port/Airport to Warehouse)
  • Track and monitor import shipments from arrival to warehouse delivery
  • Review and verify invoices, packing lists, and Bills of Lading
  • Coordinate with customs brokers for clearance documentation
  • Arrange inland transportation and follow up on deliveries
Outbound Logistics (Warehouse to Service Centers)
  • Coordinate daily shipments from warehouse to service workshops
  • Work with warehouse teams on picking, packing, and shipping
  • Confirm deliveries and resolve shipment issues
  • Reconcile shipped quantities with SAP records
Administration & Reporting
  • Verify and submit freight invoices for payment
  • Communicate with logistics vendors and service centers
  • Maintain shipment logs and tracking reports
  • Prepare weekly status updates for management
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination
  • Experience handling import/export documentation and customs procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and email communication
Preferred:
  • Experience using SAP in a logistics environment
  • Experience working with global or cross-functional teams
