Janitor Weekends (Monday – Friday)

Our client, a manufacturer in Brampton, ON is looking for a Janitor for a temp – permanent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of janitorial experience within a warehouse and logistics environment. What our client offers:
· 22.72 per hr, Plus $2 per hour premium Sat & Sun.
· Friday – Monday
Friday – 11am-7pm
Saturday – 7am-3pm
Sunday 7am-3pm
Monday 11am-7pm
Your tasks as the Janitor would be:
· Overall maintenance, housekeeping of the office, break rooms, bathrooms, yard/ground, parking lots warehouse and/or dock areas in a clean and orderly condition. sanitation of work areas.
· Disinfection and cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass.
· Comply with OSHA standards, safety procedures
· Clean or wash trailers and/or railcars as required.
· Ability to follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams
· Knowledge of safe use of cleaning chemicals, janitorial techniques.
· Clear Debris within the warehouse
· May be required to use cleaning equipment such as steamers, floor scrubbers and carpet cleaners.
· Ability to work the All shifts
· Collect Garbage cans from around the site
· Product clean up, Mopping and sweeping
· Clearing up broken and damaged skids and plastic
· Operate Walkie machine
The required qualifications of the Janitor
· 3 years of relevant experience.
· Valid Walkie License and Experience
· Scrubber Machine Experience
· Will be required to bend, lift, kneel, crouch
· Can work in a cold storage environment.
· The noise level in the warehouse is usually moderate
