Janitor – 1st Shift
Position Purpose
Responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping all assigned areas neat and tidy. The role includes vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, replacing trash can liners, and ensuring compliance with GMP, Food Safety, Quality, and company policies at all times.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Sweep and mop floors

Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces
-
Clean and disinfect cafeteria and break rooms
-
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and sanitize surfaces
-
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning tools and solutions
-
Clean and service restrooms using mops and disinfectants
-
Identify and report maintenance or repair needs to the Supervisor or Manager
-
Arrive on time and maintain punctual attendance
-
Follow instructions provided by Supervisor or Manager
-
Capable of reading and recognizing signage, lot numbers, and expiration dates
-
If sick, notify the Supervisor prior to reporting to work
-
Notify Supervisor and Human Resources when absence is required

Minimum Qualifications

Elementary School education
Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma
Special Requirements / Physical Demands

Walking and standing for extended periods of time

Ability to lift a minimum of 20 lbs

Heavy, physically active role with frequent standing and walking

Comfortable working in a GMP and food safety–controlled environment

Shift: Monday to Friday

Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Immediate Need: Candidates must be available ASAP today until 8:00 PM or later

Overtime: Must be flexible to work overtime, including weekends when required

Pay Rate: $18.10/hour
