We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.
Location: Langley, BC
Schedule: onsite Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Compensation:
  • $55k to $60k with a bonus 5% annually, based on company financials and department goals
  • Pension: 3% employer match after 1 year
  • Vacation: 3 weeks

Responsibilities:
  • Actively participate in the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Attend in-person or online interviews and conduct reference checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for all new recruits.
  • Provide training to hourly employees on Human Relations processes and policies during onboarding.
  • Maintain constructive relations with union representatives and the management team.
  • Utilize job boards, sourcing tools, and HR techniques to attract and identify candidates.
  • Manage and maintain the company’s social media presence for recruiting purposes.
  • Provide effective support to management and contribute to continuous improvement within the HR function.
  • Assist with other assignments and projects as HR and business needs dictate.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or certificate in Human Resources.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience
  • Knowledge of HR trends, practices, and recruiting techniques.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with a unionized workforce is preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to meet goals with minimal supervision and demonstrate good business sense.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
