Field Safety Associate

Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 + benefits

Overview
We are seeking a Field Safety Associate to support ongoing construction projects across the GTA. This role is highly field-focused and will work closely with site teams to ensure compliance with safety standards, promote a strong safety culture, and proactively mitigate risk on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits across multiple projects
• Enforce compliance with OHSA, company policies, and project-specific safety plans
• Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and reporting
• Assist in the development and implementation of site-specific safety procedures
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety training to field personnel
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and ensure adherence to safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety records
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to drive a proactive safety culture

Qualifications
• 2–5+ years of construction safety experience in a field-based role
• Strong knowledge of Ontario health & safety legislation (OHSA)
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work across multiple job sites
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Certifications (Preferred/Required)
• NCSO designation or in progress
