Forklift Operator (REACH / Standing Up)
Location: Salaberry de Valleyfield, QC
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm
Salary: $19/hour
Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving, handling, and storing products within the warehouse while maintaining high accuracy and productivity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Stand-up Reach in a safe and efficient manner
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Handle delicate or oversized products using clamp equipment without damage
- Perform put-away, replenishment, picking, and pallet movements
- Conduct equipment inspections and report issues or maintenance needs
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized environment
- Assist with general warehouse duties when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating a forklift
- Valid forklift certification is a must
- Strong understanding of safe material-handling practices
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to work with RF scanners (an asset)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
