Forklift Operator – Cross-Dock / Staging (Afternoon Shift)
Location: Brampton, ON (Near First Gulf Blvd & Steeles Ave)

Shift: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (OT as needed)
Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

About the Opportunity
Fuze HR is currently hiring a Forklift Operator for one of our large distribution and logistics partners who manages outbound and inbound freight for major retail accounts. This site supports high-volume cross-dock operations and provides a long-term opportunity for candidates seeking stability and career growth.
Due to recent challenges with work permit renewals across the industry, the client requires candidates with full, unrestricted work rights.
Responsibilities
- Receive and unload freight manually or using equipment such as Electric Counterbalance forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners
- Inspect incoming goods for damages, verify quantities, and match shipments to purchase orders
- Stage and prepare outbound orders for delivery to various client locations
- Ship orders according to pre-established purchase orders
- Prepare and review shipping/receiving documents for accuracy
- Maintain positive communication with transportation and logistics partners
- Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift experience (Cross-Dock experience preferred)
- Valid Electric Counterbalance forklift license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent in English
- Must have steel-toe safety shoes and a high-visibility vest
- Ability to work in a normal warehouse environment (light dust)
Additional Information
- This is a temp-to-perm position
- Must be eligible to work without the need to sponsor or permit renewal
- Candidate will be direct sent to the client (no formal interview required)
- A background check may be required
