Job Summary:
As a Fine Dining Line Cook, you will be a key member of the culinary team, responsible for the preparation and execution of high-quality, creative dishes that embody our commitment to excellence. Working alongside our experienced chefs, you will play a critical role in delivering an unforgettable dining experience for our discerning guests.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare a variety of complex, gourmet dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
– Ensure the proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food items to maintain freshness and quality
– Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station to support the overall kitchen operation
– Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes
– Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness
Qualifications:
– 1+ years of experience as a line cook in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
– Demonstrated expertise in various cooking techniques and a passion for using fresh, high-quality ingredients
– Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
– Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with the culinary team
– Culinary certification or training in the culinary arts is preferred
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary, full-time position that requires standing for extended periods, frequent lifting of heavy equipment and supplies, and the ability to work in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment. Flexible scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required.
Compensation and Benefits:
$18 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer free meals and accommodation.
