About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Facility & Warehouse Support Associate to join our team at our brand-new Mississauga facility. This position is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized environment that meets the high standards of a prestigious global client. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain office areas, washrooms, and common spaces
- Operate and manage the cardboard baler for recycling
- Collect and organize cardboard and boxes from aisles and staging areas
- Operate the Zamboni (floor cleaning machine) to maintain warehouse floors
- Safely operate counterbalance forklift and walkie to move materials as required
- Assist with general facility upkeep and minor repairs
- Monitor and restock cleaning and maintenance supplies
- Follow all health and safety procedures, promptly reporting issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, warehouse support, or janitorial roles
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment (Zamboni), forklifts (counterbalance), and pallet jacks/walkies
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Comfortable lifting up to 30 lbs
- Professional, reliable, and adaptable with a strong work ethic
- Basic mechanical aptitude is an asset
- Able to work independently as well as within a team
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact in a professional workplace setting
