Position Overview:

As the Extrusion Team Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the operation of our vinyl extrusion machine and team on shift. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for setup, changeovers, and operation of the extrusion machine, as well as leading and motivating a team of operators to achieve production targets and quality goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate vinyl extrusion machine according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform changeovers and adjustments to ensure smooth operation and optimal product quality.
• Lead and supervise a team of operators, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
• Monitor production processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and meet customer demands.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete production reports and documentation accurately and on time.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating and setting up a vinyl extrusion machine is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
