A growing manufacturer within the industrial battery handling and material handling equipment sector is looking to add an experienced Industrial Millwright / Machine Builder to their build team.
This position is best suited for a trades professional who enjoys hands-on machine building and mechanical integration, rather than traditional production maintenance work. The role focuses on assembling and building custom equipment and mechanical systems used in specialized industrial applications.
You will work closely with engineering and fabrication teams to bring complex equipment designs to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Assemble and build custom mechanical equipment and machinery from detailed engineering drawings
• Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation of machine components
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and mechanical schematics
• Install and connect hydraulic systems and pneumatic components within machinery builds
• Build and route hydraulic lines and circuits, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and manifolds
• Integrate compressed air systems and pneumatic controls
• Carry out equipment alignment, calibration, and precision measurements
• Make mechanical adjustments or fabricate small components when required during builds
• Work alongside engineers, welders, and fabrication teams throughout the equipment build process
• Support machine start-up, testing, and troubleshooting
• Ensure equipment meets quality, safety, and operational requirements

Required Skills & Experience
• 433A Industrial Millwright license
• Minimum 10 years of experience in machine building, equipment assembly, or custom machinery manufacturing
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings and hydraulic/pneumatic schematics
• Excellent mechanical troubleshooting ability and strong technical aptitude
