About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Electrician 309a – Journeyman or 4th Year Apprentice to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for commercial and industrial clients, focusing on the maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of overhead door control wiring and related systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, tests, troubleshooting, and diagnostics for overhead door motors, operators, and controls.
  • Coordinate daily tasks with the service/install dispatcher.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Work independently or lead a team on job sites.
  • Be open to occasional travel (approximately 20% of work), including underground work. All necessary site training will be provided.

Qualifications:

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred).
  • 309A Electrician License.
  • Minimum 2 years of electrical experience.
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Comfortable with heights, ladders, and lifting equipment.
  • Safety-focused and detail-oriented.
