Your mission should you accept it:

Under the supervision of the Electrical Director, the Electrical Project Manager monitors and manages the electrical engineering of wind and solar projects in Canada. They also participates in the preparation of construction projects for completion on-site by supplying equipment and developing agreements with major electrical subcontractors.

Do you have what it takes? Positive energy and…

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering – power system (an asset) or relevant experience
  • Have more than 10 years of experience in the construction of high and medium-voltage electrical substations and medium-voltage networks
  • Experience working on renewable energy construction projects such as wind, solar, hydro electric or energy storage
  • Knowledge of The Alberta Electric System Operator (AESO) connection processes (an asset);
  • Battery Storage experience (an asset)
  • Be available for occasional travel within Canada.

What you will do to complete this mission successfully:

  • Ensure the monitoring and management of the electrical engineering of projects with electrical engineering firms
  • Ensure the supply of equipment
  • Participate in project start-up and closure meetings
  • Guide all electrical operations of a project
  • Analyze contract requirements and ensure that you fully understand customer needs
  • Develop agreements with electrical subcontractors
  • Ensure monitoring of services provided by consultants (drawings, studies, calculation notes, etc.)
  • Ensure that project engineering complies with contractual documents and requirements
  • Perform other related duties.
