Dispatcher-Multiple Shifts

Large company located in Brampton is looking to hire Dispatcher. This department is a 24hr/7days a week operation so we are looking for someone who is fully flexible for shifts. Training will require 4 – 6 weeks Monday to Friday 6:00 – 14:00 regardless of shift being hired for.

Night – 10pm-6am (Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday)

Afternoon 2-10pm (Monday to Friday)

Day 6am-2pm ( Monday to Friday)

*Progressing/closing trips

*Trip creation

*Customer service; phone and email to problem solve issues that

*Driver support

*Planning/dispatching of pickups and deliveries

Skill set

* 3yrs dispatch experience, college/university education is preferred.

*Microsoft: email, word and excel

*Strong communication skills oral and written

*Ability to learn new software as required;

*Ability to multitask and prioritize

*Team player

*Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision

*Ability work from home or office in a busy and sometimes noisy environment

*Willing to work other shifts as required
