Class G Delivery Driver

Our esteemed client, a leading distributor specializing in top-quality pipes and valves, is eagerly seeking a dedicated Class G Delivery Driver to join their team immediately for a 4-month temporary assignment in the Woodbridge, ON area. If you have 3-5 years’ experience as a commercial driver with a clean driver abstract we want to hear from you.

Pay: $26.01 per hour

Shift Times: Monday – Friday – 4:30 am to 12:30 pm or 5:00 am to1:00 pm

Responsibilities:

· Class G Delivery Driver

· Responsible for delivery of customer orders

· Responsible for receiving, loading and unloading parcels

· Ensures customer orders are completed

· Maintains regular communication with customers/sales staff regarding service/delivery matters

· Reports any damage to equipment or shipments

· Courteous to customers at all times

· Maintains a safe driving record

· Maintains truck to be safe and in good working order

· Working in the warehouse when deliveries are low

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· A valid G Class license with a clean driving abstract.

· 5 years of commercial driving experience

· Trip inspections is also preferred

· The ability to consistently lift up to 50lbs.

· Strong customer service and communication skills.

· Steel-toed boots.
