Dechargeur de Camion / Truck Unloader
Location: Salaberry de Valleyfield, QC
Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm
Salary: $18/hour
About the Role
We are currently looking for a reliable and physically strong Lumper to support our warehouse operations. The Lumper will be responsible for loading and unloading trailers, moving freight by hand or with basic equipment, and ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks or containers manually or with pallet jacks
- Sort, stack, and organize products in the warehouse
- Shrink-wrap, strap, and prepare pallets as required
- Assist forklift drivers by staging pallets and clearing work areas
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
- Perform other general labor tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience (an asset, not mandatory)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs + repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Ability to work in different temperatures (including cold storage, if applicable)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and reliability
- Safety-oriented mindset
